The European Youth Media Convention will take place in Berlin, Germany on 3 - 6 November 2010. The Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation, the German Youth Press and the European Youth Press are looking for 24 young European media makers to take part in this European Congress which focuses on the theme: "My story, our history, European memories".
Participants will represent their country and report on local memories and history. They will also create media products in four workshops, choosing between print, radio, TV and photography.
There is no participation fee but participants are required to cover their own travel costs. Accommodation and catering are organised by Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation Berlin.
Please submit your application as well as a short letter of motivation and a CV detailing your experiences in media and project work to eymc2010@jugendpresse.de.
The deadline for applications is 10 August 2010.
