Youth, as
active agents of future growth, have a great responsibility in ensuring
that our nation live in a world that is better than today. Youth have to
able to hold answer keys to the question ‘what is the role of young
people in driving change?’ since our responses to this will affect on us
and our world. The rise of youth forums and youth movements should,
therefore, be supported in order to facilitate and provide space for
young people determine their role and keys in shaping our better future.

International Winter School for Educators
The winter school will provide a forum for 15 junior educators from
European countries who want to exchange ideas on methods and teaching
practices on the topic of Nazi forced labour and its memory in post-war
Europe from a transnational perspective. The focus will be on civilian
forced labour in Nazi Germany. The winter school will also focus on how
educators can use documents archived in the ITS Digital Archive, which
include among others multi-million page collections of records on forced
labour, post-war DPs and resettlement.

2016 Human Science Summer School in Fukuoka
The Human Science International Course in
the Graduate School of Design, Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan,
invites Graduate School students studying outside of Japan to the 2016
Human Science Summer School. Those of you eligible and interested in the
education of our International Course are encouraged to apply. We offer
financial support and course credits, as well as course education and
laboratory experience.
The Human Science Summer School provides a program consisting of 15 lectures of 90 min in combination with research experience at a laboratory of a
faculty member of your choosing (afternoons). The lecture course,
Advanced Design and Technologies for Human Science, is designed as an
overview of the whole curriculum of the Human Science International Course.

programme is a media training programme targeted for young
international journalists. The programme provides an excellent opportunity to
learn more about Finland, Finnish society and the Finnish way of life.
It includes briefings on various subjects, meetings with Finnish
professionals and visits to business enterprises, cultural sites and
institutions.

International Development Youth Forum 2015
Since 2013 the International
Development Youth Forum is held annually and youth with high ambition
for international development get together from all over the world.
Last year approximately 38 youth chosen from approximately 900 youth
from 100 different countries and regions attended the Forum. Under the
slogan “Design our future” the Forum seeks to achieve 3 main aims:
- Building continuous network among youth who are interested in International Development;
- Providing opportunity that one can broaden one’s value, knowledge, and way of thinking;
- Creating outcome that produces new change to society.
In 2015 the IDYF will be held in Tokyo, Japan from 1st of March to 8th of March. The theme of the Forum is “Hunger x Win-Win”,
aiming to figure out cutting-edge solutions for both hunger in
developing countries and social problems in developed countries.

Advanced Programme in European Law and Economics 2014 in Riga
Advanced Programme in European Law and Economics for Eastern
Partnership Region and Central Asia is a special 12-week full-time
training programme, funded by the government of Latvia, offering
education and practical knowledge transfer. The
programme starts on 15 September 2014. Graduation is planned for Friday 5 December 2014.
The programme will focus on the understanding of the legal, economic
and political aspects within the European Union framework, using an
interdisciplinary approach that is based on both teaching and practical
experience through group activities and experience-sharing study visits.

Global Change Leaders Program 2014
The Global Change Leaders Program is a seven-week education program
offered by Coady Institute’s International Centre for Women’s
Leadership. This program enables women from developing countries to
strengthen their leadership capacities in order to contribute to
innovation and change in their organizations and communities. Program
participants engage in learning grounded in real world experiences and
focused on Coady’s core thematic areas. Through a shared learning
environment with other emerging women leaders from around the world,
participants are exposed to a range of experiences and the beginnings of
a potentially lifelong network of support.

Affairs (CENAA) together with its partner Armed Forces Academy of
General M. R. Štefánik (AFA) in Liptovský Mikuláš, Slovakia is
organizing the Summer School for Young Professionals 2013: Challenges of Global Security Environment on 29 June 2013 – 7 July 2013. If you are a master or doctoral level
student of political science and/or international relations, or a young
professional who is interested and active in the foreign and security
policy issues, then we would like to invite YOU to join other students
from Central Europe (V4), South Eastern Europe (Western Balkans), Ukraine and South Caucasus in an interactive week-long forum focused on the current issues of the security policy.
You can enjoy the environment of the
Armed Forces Academy in Liptovský Mikuláš, located between the beautiful

Transparency International Summer School on Integrity
Applications are welcome for the Transparency International Summer School on Integrity that will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania, on 8-14 July, 2013. The Summer School is designed for students, graduates and young professionals.

European Forum Alpbach 2013
"Experiences and Values" is the general topic of the European Forum Alpbach 2013 which will take place from August 12 to 31, 2013 in the village of Alpbach in the Tyrolean mountains. The
three-week event offers an opportunity to enter into discussion with
renowned personalities. In a unique atmosphere, speakers from a wide
variety of disciplines will discuss burning issues of our times with the
participants. An extensive social programme offers opportunities to
continue debates outside the conference and seminar rooms. This special
nature of the European Forum attracts around 4,000 participants from
more than 60 countries every year.
To enable young people to share in this experience, the European Forum Alpbach Non-Profit Foundation under Private Law, supported by many sponsors, makes scholarships available for students and recent graduates. Summer Academy Challenges of Sustainable Development in Poland 2013
Sendzimir Foundation invites students and professionals interested in
sustainable development to apply for the XVI Summer Academy Challenges
of Sustainable Development in Poland 2013. The course, held entirely in English, consists of two phases: an e-learning phase (March-June) and the
3-week long Summer Academy that takes place on 7-27 July in Torun, central
Poland. Participation in the e-learning phase is open
to applicants from anywhere in the world. Participation in the Summer
Academy will be open to selected participants that proved the best
alumni of the e-learning course and are residents of Central Eastern
Europe and Baltic Sea Basin region. Participation in both the
e-learning and the Academy is free of charge (Sendzimir Foundation covers all the related costs except travel to Torun).
